TRANSPARENCY REQUIREMENTS

The FLORIDA SPORTS FOUNDATION is a Florida Not for Profit Corporation and qualifies under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.  FLORIDA SPORTS FOUNDATION filed amended and restated articles of incorporation on April 2, 2019, with the Florida Department of State’s Division of Corporations.  Article V of those restated articles of incorporation provides that FLORIDA SPORTS FOUNDATION’s sole member will be Enterprise Florida, Inc. (“EFI”), also a Florida Not for Profit Corporation qualified under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.  EFI includes FLORIDA SPORTS FOUNDATION in its audited consolidated financial statements and in its form 990PF Return of Organization Exempt from Income Tax, which are both published on EFI’s website.  As such, FLORIDA SPORTS FOUNDATION agrees to comply with the specific provisions herein and all applicable provisions of sections 288.901-288.922, Florida Statutes, as amended.

FLORIDA SPORTS FOUNDATION is in full compliance with the following transparency requirements.

  1. Contracts exceeding $35,000
  2. Agreements
  3. Contracts & Information pursuant to 288.904(6)(b): None-to-Date
  4. Accounting of funds spent by 3rd party on behalf of the Foundation (Entity, Board or Staff): None-to-Date
  5. An Annual Itemized Accounting of FSF Travel & Entertainment Expenditures
