RETENTION OF MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL SPRING TRAINING BASEBALL FRANCHISES

The Department of Commerce serves as the state agency for certifying qualified applicants to receive state funding for a facility for a spring training franchise under Sections 288.11631 and 212.20(6)(d)6.e, F.S.

The Foundation shall assist the department in the promotion and development of the sports industry and related industries for the purpose of improving the economic presence of these industries in Florida.
