Some of the nation’s top high school sophomores bring their wood bats to Southwest Florida this fall. The 10th Annual WWBA Sophomore World Championship runs September 24–28, 2026, played across MLB spring training complexes and ballparks throughout Lee and Charlotte counties, centered at JetBlue Park in Fort Myers.
Expect elite competition and heavy scouting attention — this is a signature Perfect Game event, with games streamed, pitching velocities tracked and rankings on the line. For families, it’s five days of high-level baseball in one of the best places in the country to watch it.
The Sophomore World Championship is supported by a Florida Sports Foundation grant — part of FSF’s work bringing world-class events to Florida communities and generating economic impact statewide.
