Seven Age Group Champions Qualify for AAU National Championship at SSG Super Regional
The 2018 Sunshine State Games Super Regional featured 44 Florida-based Volleyball teams playing in Fort Myers, Saturday, April 14 and Sunday, April 15.
See results below in the seven age groups where the winners qualified for the AAU National Championships in Orlando in June.
The 14-Year Old Age Group winners, Tainas Volleyball Club, from Orlando (pictured left), was undefeated in six games and won both of its games bracket matches in three games. Tainas dropped Game Two in both games against the
4Tampa Titans and the Five Stars VBC and rallied to win Game Three.
In the 17-Year Old Age Group, Five Stars VBC lost Game One of the Championship Game against Tainas and rebounded to win Game Two 25-22 and the Championship Game 18-16.
