Florida’s senior softball community heads to Lake County. The Florida Senior Games Softball Championships return to the Sleepy Hollow Athletic Complex in Leesburg on September 26, bringing together men’s and women’s teams from across the state for a full day of competition on one of Florida’s premier softball campuses.

This is a Softball Players Association (SPA) championship tournament, with gold, silver and bronze medals awarded to the top three teams in each division. And there’s more than medals on the line — 2026 is a qualifying year for the 2027 National Senior Games, June 30 through July 11 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Florida has a long tradition of sending strong contingents to Nationals from this tournament.

Teams of every ability level are welcome. Whether you’ve been playing since Little League or picked up a glove again at 60, there’s a division for you.
