Sunshine State Celebrates Three Collegiate National Titles
The State of Florida added three more collegiate national titles to its trophy case in Fall 2018 as the Sunshine State continues to produce some of the nation’s best collegiate athletic teams, programs, and student-athletes in the country.
Since January 1, 2018, the State of Florida as a whole has displayed multiple championship performances as 15 teams captured national titles on the field that were officially recognized by the NCAA, NAIA, and NJCAA as the nation’s best in their respective divisions. As the Sunshine State continues to dominate the collegiate athletics landscape, the talent on the field and in the classroom continues to lead the nation.
This Fall, three institutions represented the State of Florida at the highest level, capturing their respective division’s top honors.
